Who needs this qualification?

Designed for learners who have a high level responsibility for health and safety practices and procedures in their workplace, implementing risk assessments, developing safe systems of work and cross organisation reviews of health and safety arrangements, This qualification is aimed at learners currently working, or preparing to work, as supervisors and managers with a direct responsibility for health and safety management.

How long will it take?

To complete this qualification, learners should expect to undertake 40 hours of learning.

These include duties and responsibilities, health and safety policies, developing and implementing risk assessments and safe systems of work and incident investigation.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) & written examination. To Awarded this qualification the Learner must achieve a percentage pass in the both test.

Certificate validity

The Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is valid for a period of three years.
