Course Title: Mental Health Awareness for Managers
Duration: 60 minutes
Fee: $48
Awarding Body: In-House
This Mental Health Awareness Training for Managers is designed to make management teams aware of mental health issues and illnesses inside and outside the workplace. It provides wellbeing-management techniques and aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health at work.
According to the HASAWA 1974, employers must “so far as is reasonably practicable” protect the health & safety of their employees by removing or reducing risks in the workplace. If someone has a mental illness for over 12 months and they can show that it’s causing them disadvantages at work, it can be classed as a disability. This means the employee is protected by the Equality Act if colleagues or their employer were to discriminate against them because of their mental illness. Employers are legally required to make reasonable adjustments to support employees with mental illnesses at work.
Each of our courses ends with a multiple-choice test to measure your knowledge of the material. This Mental Health Awareness Training for Managers course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. In addition, brief in-course questionnaires guide the user through the sections of the training and are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum user engagement throughout.
As well as printable user certificates, training progress and results are all stored centrally in your LMS (Learning Management System) and can be accessed any time to reprint certificates, check and set pass marks and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.
