About the Course

This RoSPA approved & CPD accredited Lone Worker Training is an essential e-learning course that helps Lone Workers within a workplace to increase their safety every day; by planning ahead, recognising aggression and learning how to use diffusion tactics.

Learning outcome:

  1. Understand buddy systems that workplaces can implement and what they need to know about them
  2. Learn how to plan your routes so you arrive and return safely
  3. Learn how to stay in control of difficult situations where you might experience aggression

Importance of training:

It’s important that you comply with the law and know the ways in which it affects you and the way you work. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 set out the general duties employers have toward employees and members of the public, and the duties employees have to themselves and others. Any director, manager, secretary or similar officer can be held responsible for breaches of these Acts.

Each of our courses ends with a multiple choice test to measure your knowledge of the material.

This Lone Worker Training – Lone Working OUT of the Workplace course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. In addition, brief in-course questionnaires guide the user through the sections of the training and are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum user engagement throughout.

As well as printable user certificates, training progress and results are all stored centrally in your LMS (Learning Management System) and can be accessed any time to reprint certificates, check and set pass marks and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.
