This First Aid Appointed Person Course is designed to educate a designated individual within an organisation about their responsibilities as a First Aid Appointed Person. It’s RoSPA approved and is one of our shortest courses at just 30 minutes long for your convenience.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requires employers to:
1. Provide adequate and appropriate first aid equipment
2. Provide adequate and appropriate first aid facilities
3. Provide adequate and appropriate first aid personnel
4. Provide Risk Assessments
5. Inform Employees of the First Aid arrangements
An employer shall provide, or ensure that there are provided, such equipment and facilities as are adequate and appropriate in the circumstances for enabling first-aid to be rendered to his employees if they are injured or become ill at work.
This First-Aid Appointed Person Training course concludes with a 10 question multiple-choice test with a printable certificate. In addition, brief in-course questionnaires guide the user through the sections of the training and are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum user engagement throughout.
As well as printable user certificates, training progress and results are all stored centrally in your LMS (Learning Management System) and can be accessed any time to reprint certificates, check and set pass marks and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.
Your First Aid Appointed Person Training Certificate includes your name, company name (if applicable), name of course taken, pass percentage, date of completion, expiry date and stamps of approval or accreditations by recognised authorities.
