LOLER

This LOLER Training course (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) aims to reduce the chances of any accidents or incidents occurring during any lifting operations in the workplace. The course covers the regulations thoroughly to give you an understanding of how to work towards compliance.

Content: 

1. What is LOLER? The first section begins by explaining what the regulations are, who they apply to, and the four requirements which together, make lifting operations safer. It establishes a few key terms and introduces other pieces of legislation which feature throughout the rest of the course.
2. Selecting the right equipment: This section is all about making sure you have the right equipment. It covers Safe Working Loads, strength and stability, and what information should be provided with your equipment.

5. Maintenance of Lifting Equipment

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 were designed to make lifting operations, and the use of lifting equipment, as safe as can be. 

Certificate (download and print):

This LOLER Training course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. In addition, brief in-course questionnaires guide the user through the sections of the training and are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum user engagement throughout.

As well as printable user certificates, training progress and results are all stored centrally in your LMS (Learning Management System) and can be accessed any time to reprint certificates, check and set pass marks and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.
